Australia Exposed

Australia Exposed is the first exhibition for the Melbourne photographer Jason Kimberley. It is the result of a yearlong odyssey, spent traveling the continent and visiting the strangely familiar, remote parts of Australia - a place he knowingly refers to as 'this other country.'

Jason Kimberley has an exceptional eye for capturing the unique and sometimes harsh beauty of the Australian landscape and life in the bush. Kimberley has given the ordinary: signs, sand, dust, rust, fences, silos, watercourses, machinery and the road itself, an entirely new dimension.

To best appreciate the power of the Jason's photography a selection of images has been curated for an exhibition that has successfully toured - Melbourne, Sydney, New York, Los Angeles and Singapore. The images are printed onto canvas using a combination of a photographic and digital process and give the photographs a painterly appearance. All images are a limited edition of 25 and are available for purchase.
